Many of Washington's most gifted poets and story tellers gathered to participate in the first annual world of poets event . This truly was a wonderful event where the poets were provided an outlet to perform their craft. There were many good works to choose from but there could only be one selection for this years winner. After Narrowing the selection down to three the unanimous choice was Regena Sonray Reigns. Here are just a few of the judges comments.
This years winner Regina Reigns was chosen for her realness and the way she connected to the audience. Her over all presence, passion and the context of each piece that she performed was impressive . We felt Regena's work was very relevant to today's life as we live it, she kept you in the moment.
